Who's Behind Texas First Hire

DeskTeam360 runs Texas First Hire. Jeremy Kenerson, its Founder and CEO, is the named expert on both guides. DeskTeam360 sells one of the four options this site compares. That option is insourcing with DeskTeam360: its flat-rate team, at $1,497 a month for the Entrepreneur plan. So it has a stake in what you choose. That's worth knowing before you read the numbers.

Jeremy Kenerson, the named expert

Jeremy Kenerson started DeskTeam360 in 2018 and is its Founder and CEO. His time in business goes back 13 years, to 2013. Earlier on, he ran a digital agency of his own.

Before he built DeskTeam360, he personally managed more than 200 overseas contractors. Along the way he spent more than $1 million on outsourcing, and learned from it what works and what doesn't. He's based in the US. Each week he hosts AMA calls that are open to every DeskTeam360 client.

He has done his own hiring. One story he tells is about two hires. The local one, an assistant, was paid $5,000 a month. The overseas one, Maria, was paid less, and he says she was 10 times better. In his own hiring, Jeremy Kenerson has paid a part-time contractor about $2,000 a month, a full-time remote contractor in the US about $4,000 a month, and a full-time contractor overseas about $1,500 a month. Those are his numbers. They aren't market rates.

DeskTeam360 in brief

DeskTeam360 sells production teams at a flat monthly rate. It calls its model Office-Based Insourcing: it brought its team in-house, into one office, and that team does the work. Its site names these kinds of work: web design and development, video editing, email and funnels, CRM and automation, social media content, website maintenance, AI and automation, and graphic design. It opened in 2018. Since then more than 400 clients have used it. Some are agencies. Others are small businesses, consultants, coaches and course creators. Payments of more than $2.5 million have gone through it with zero chargebacks. Its Trustpilot page showed a TrustScore of 4.4 across 11 reviews on October 2, 2026.

DeskTeam360 doesn't do payroll. Texas First Hire explains hiring rules and costs, and it offers no payroll, legal or tax help.

DeskTeam360's own site is deskteam360.com.

Why is Texas in the name?

Texas is in the name so that owners in Texas can find the state's own numbers quickly, in a search or in an AI chat. The main cost tables put the US figures beside the Texas ones, so owners anywhere can use the site.

Where do the numbers come from?

The numbers on this site come from four places. Rules and wages come from official sources, such as the IRS, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics and Texas state agencies. DeskTeam360's price and plan details come from its own published pages. The contractor figures come from Jeremy Kenerson's own hiring, and they carry his name wherever they appear. The counts of what top-ranked pages and AI answers leave out come from research done for this site on October 1, 2026. Both guides list their sources and the day each was read.

Texas First Hire is a private site. It has no tie to the State of Texas or to any government agency.
